Looking for a WhatsApp app, found ShareChat instead
I was looking for an app to make content for WhatsApp. I found ShareChat. That's all — no big plan.
My first post — and the start of posting daily
I made a funny post. People liked it more than I expected. That made me start posting often. Slowly, I moved into sharing news updates and built a fan following.
Became a well-known news creator
I kept posting regularly. My following grew, and people started to know me on the app. I also started noticing how the app itself worked — not just what I posted.
A creator meet in Delhi changed things
I met the ShareChat team in person, including a talk with the co-founder that I still remember. After this, I felt more connected to the app. I started reporting bugs and giving feedback simply because I cared.
From feedback to a UX Research internship
My habit of noticing problems and reporting them is what got me a chance to intern in UX Research. Not a resume — just attention to detail. I interned, and then joined full-time.
Became a full-time UX Researcher
I started by sitting in on other people's interviews and taking notes. Since then, I have run my own research projects from start to finish — planning the study, doing interviews, and giving product ideas based on what I learn.
Still a creator, still a user — that's the point
I still post content. I still use ShareChat like any normal user. This is not something from my past — it happens every day, right now. Being on both sides of the product — as a user and as a researcher — helps me ask better questions than someone who only studies the app from outside.
